Title: Does anyone still have a complete Mk2 16v key fob enclosure??

Just wondering if many peoples key enclosure bits on your 16v keyfobs has stayed intact??

Found out theyre this expensive for a new one!!

I have all the original keys including the 16V key fob, never been used.

Me to.. I'm the third owner of my valver, first 2 owners were mother then son, Im sure that this helped keep everything together, I have everything! right down to the Blaupunkt instruction manual in German!

Didn't know they were originally like that.

I paid £20 for mine 4 yrs ago. Can't believe how much they've gone up!

yes they fit all mk2's i believe but i think i have a mk1 lock set on mine

I have 4 keys :grin: :grin:

A fob intact, one a little knackered and 2 VW ones that open the boot as the lock was changed at some point...Volksbits are doing a full replacement set of locks and keys which are brand new...geezer i spoke to said they are from China as apparently they still make the jetta over there!!! LOL :laugh:

Could be handy to source other bits n pieces from the country i reckon?  Especially as loads of stuff is now becoming obsolete even through GSF and the likes

They could be available from vw ach haha, havent checked but the ones for the jetta in china might be a good source!

I'm the second owner of mine and have the original bill of sale. But it was neglected and it took alot of time and money for me to have what you see now. Its not bad, but it will never be a show car.

nah mate, i did say its lock n keys that you get that all match! :grin: I reckon its funny that the Chinese don't even offer the VW emblem...i bet its like the old fiesta and mazda 121, whereby some company is using the old design of the jetta under license from VW.
or as i've just found out i'm wrong!!

they look way wrong but check the interior....mk4 style door cards and switches as standard on the 5 door millionaire model :cool:
