hello to all i'm a newbe to site and i'm also new to vw although i've had my eye out for one for a while.
i pick it up later in the week can't wait. just thought i'd give a quick hello

thanks for the welcome
i've bought a mk4 gti 1.8T the 150bhp model. wanted the 180 model but couldn't find one got told there're quite rare.
its completely standard at the moment, so suggestions would be welcomed.

the 180's are normally over priced too  :sad:

they did seem over priced, hopefully getting it re mapped next week and having a forge 007 fittered so should get it over 180 anyway.
just looking for some nice wheels now, looking at 19" but undecided

aye but if you remapped a 180 it would see more than a remapped 150.

True 180 maps to approx 215 - 220  :cool:
