Title: Help! Mk3 golf gti headlights not working!
Post by: mattyass on 20 January 2009, 19:45
Ok so i got in the car to drive home from work tonight and thought hmm my bulbs aren't that bright i need to change them. Pulled over to look and found out my headlights were not working at all. Sidelights, full beam, indicators, fogs, all working fine. Seems like an odd problem.

Has anyone had any experience of this? can anyone shed any light on the prob? (scuse the pun!)

High beams work albeit only one as the bulb's gone in one side but they flash or switch on just fine

have you checked the bulbs, unlikely they both went at the same time, but the most likely option. If not check the fuse

Im gonna check the bulbs tommorrow cheers dude. Should have checked them straight off but didnt really have time tonight and with it being both lights not working i didnt think it would be the bulbs but definately worth a check. I think i'll change the fuses to just in case
