How much would be the going rate for a body shop to smooth a front bumper and spray it? £200? bit less, bit more?
Cheers
Mike

sorry to sound dumb but what do you mean by smoothed? got a pic?

Ditto, do you mean just to get shot of the textured finish, or to reshape the bumper, fill holes and get shot of the texture etc..

Hey, just so happens I have one, etched, de-textured, primed and painted for extra cost. Let me know If you are interested.

Mike I got a quote of £200 for a rear bumper being smoothed and sprayed :undecided:
Would have sold you my spare front one but its already been dibsed

I have thought about getting this done but it puts me off because wont the wheel arches and side skirts door trims look odd they must be a nightmare to smooth unless you take all them off
-
Have a look at the pics of my car mate, there are side trims that don't join with the arches and are colour coded.

if anyone is after a mk2 big bumper i have one thats never been fitted or painted and is just tacking up room. £30 pm me if interested

back to prices mikester - i got quoted £75 a bumper painted, so could we assume £125 to smooth the number place recess/fog and indy holes?
