Title: Neuspeed P-Flo Air Intake...
Post by: maxwell on 19 January 2009, 22:34
Hey first post here.
Due to pick my Mk5 GTI DSG (currently standard) up this week after upgrading from a Bora TDI.
Just wondered has anyone got the Neuspeed P-Flo Air Intake Kit fitted at all? I know its the age old debate of which is the best to buy etc but the Neuspeed seems to get decent reviews and at under £200 is a decent price.

thoughts and opinions people?

Cheers

if you check on golfmkv.com they seem to be the most favourable choice over in America,

I have the carbonio as its still keeps the OEM look and im not sure but i think you have to lose the engine cover for the neuspeed, something worth looking into

Be aware that you will get a strange "scratching" sound from the intake that some find annoying/intolerable.

I have found the DSG doesnt tend to like some full intakes - of course try and let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the advice people, i had heard you had to lose the engine cover which to be fair is the only thing putting me off! Will keep you updated if i get one!

You can of course buy the Neuspeed carbon fibre engine cover that goes with the intake. Not exactly cheap though.
