Was this kind of Gear Knob an ORIGINAL option for the MKII Golf??????

edit: you also got the nasty plastic/rubber ones, those were std fit on most later MK2s.  The leather ones were only on the more special models :)

The gear knob in my Mk5 is probably the nicest feel of any that i have had, im tempted to get one for my Mk2, im sure i could get it to fit......eventually  :laugh:

Dont know how much but i have one of those in mine. I thought it was a standard in later spec 16V's like mine. Good gear knob tho. :smiley:

I think it may be discontinued, but ask your dealer.  They come up on ebay pretty often though, thats where I got mine!

well i have the best of both worlds, feeling of a cow skin knob in the MK2, Golf ball in the MK1 cab  :grin:

i got a gear knob like that but its got a vw motorsport incert which is suppose to be very rare..... so rare i cant find it... :grin:
