Title: fibreglassin a mk 2 dash

do n e one no if this cud b done i have plans to move my cd player over to where the glove box is and i was do away wif the glove box and mould the cd player into the dash and i wanna add a few wee dsigns here and there on the dash usin fibre glass then spray the hole dash r else get it air brushed. would the fibre glass stick to the dash ok r would i b wastin my time

it would if i  was you i would drill loads of small holes around the area to give tha fibreglass something to key onto.

use wilsons p40 (i think) ask veedubgti16v he knows loads about fibreglass, he has built bumpers and speaker pods with it.

all sounds fine, but i would get the dash covered rather than spray it, that will look nasty and you would have to do a lot of prep work to spray it. cover it with vinyl for the OE look, or alcantra if your feeling flush ;D

just ruff the glovebox up a bit with some sand paper. bloody resin sticks to everything else, why not a dash ;D

the alcantra sounds to b a good job seen it done in some cars at a few shows it doest take to much to make it look good so im sure i cud wee bits done in it.

alcantara is expensive, but I've been told you can get something that looks practically the same for a fraction of the cost :)
