Title: Remote Locking

Hi

I think I made a topic on this before but just wanted to ask. My Golf is a 1.4S and as such does not have remote locking, but does have central locking with the key. If I wanted to upgrade to remote locking is this easily and cheaply done or am I better off not bothering? I know there are kits on ebay but wondered if it could be done in a more OEM fashion?

lot of work as you'd need the central convenience module and all associated wiring

an aftermarket kit would be the cheapest and easiest option  :smiley:

or you can sell your car and buy one with it fitted lol
