Gave the car a clean as it was a nice day and a great chance to get some decent photos of the new grill and rear badge :wink:

yeah and i should have some bloody tyres soon as well! once the cambelt/waterpump is done Im F***** getting tyres! everytime i go to get some something else pops up and the money is gone! haha

you dont see too many yellow ones, but they do look safe as
well should be doing the wing mirrors at some point soon, then will have to see about the lights, anni ones would be my choice but pricey as hell although they have got soem smoked ones on swgmotorsport that i like the look of as well, but defo us rears :wink:

mine is red also, i already have some euro rears, and thought they would suit a red car better but im thinking us spec now, decissions!

with alot of swearing! lol got one from ebay, sanded it back with 600 grit wet/dry, primer, then masked off the badge surround, sprayed red, then 1200 grit after the coats, then vice versa with the bars but in satin black, the hardest part was getting the lines right which was a mare but go there in the end!

looks really good, I'm going to disagree with he rear lights, as i think the standard ones work really well, seen as your exterior is Red with black. Anni head lights would look mint, as well as US anniversary badges if you've got the ££££ to spend.

spot on with the badge, would look mint on a red GTI! i think it's the front grill badge that is normally around £25

well ive only got the sharan badge on the back, what i was thinking (would be fiddly as hell!) buy the red badge but instead of the chrome lip spray that black would as i said be a mission but think it would look pretty safe adn adds the contrast at the same time

that wouldn't be that hard, because of the lip you could quite easily just mask up the red part, eg mark everything and then using a craft scalpel trim the tape back, and then spray the lip, at £10 a badge it could be worth a punt.

the UK one is about £10, sure the US (red on chrome) is much more
