Title: Annoying plastic bit under passenger seat
Post by: Blackdeathdiesel on 17 January 2009, 17:55
Hi

I have a really annoying plastic bit under the passenger side seat of my 3 dr TD140. Every time I have to push the seat back it dislodges and ends up flapping around the car.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem and is there an easy fix that I am missing. It doesnt appear to be broken and theres no obvious way of fitting it.

Thanks

yeah i know what you mean.. also their is another plastic part that covers the wires on the floor, ppl catch it with their feet when getting out the passenger side, always keep replacing it lol

Thats the one I mean, the one that covers wires up, its about 100mm sq.

I would throw it away but then Id be left with a hole in the floor

Maybe I should have bought the old mans hot hatch with too many doors

well you could try applying some glue.. not the real sticky type but the non permanant stuff carpenters use

when i have time ill try it, would hold it in place from people knocking it all the time, can alway remove it with a little force if need be
