Title: FAO Patch - joey projectors (updated)
Post by: Wazzzer on 17 January 2009, 15:41
or anyone else with Depo headlights

how close were your headlight height motors to the bulb holders on your Depo's? Mine are nearly touching! might just leave them out...

I'll stick some pics up later for you on how the joeying of the Depo's is going

Mine (now patch's) were that close Wazzer, I had to bend the side of the bulb holder slightly on one of them to get it to lock in.

OEM lights WON'T split, the sealant is too strong.

With OEM the trick is to buy 2 sets of headlights, smash the lenses off one and smash the backs off the other, no other way of removing the lenses. Stops water getting in ;)

stick them in the oven the plastic started to melt but the sealant still would not budge
