Put the code in?
Ask the owner if he still has the manual for it, should be written in there

I buying from a dealer who does not have the code

There is a fix for Sony stereos - but I can't remember for the life of me where I read it.
Take this with a pinch of salt!
Remove the stereo, on the underside there is a sticker which covers up an access hole to the circuit board. Under this sticker there is 4 solder points, if you solder all 4 to each other, it blanks the requirement to need a code.
Or something like that

Any more advise please as im just picking up car

have you got it sorted yet.... as i have the same unit

I have a program that you can put the serial in and it will give you the stock code.

NOpe
At present i bought another headunit of Ebay , Appaerntly you have to enter the code by a sequence of buttons from the remote
:undecided: :undecided: :undecided:

If the seller has the code bud then it is entered via the remote. If he does not have the code then the only way round these headunits is to solder the 4 pins.......... I will dig out a photo for you a bit later as have done 2 of them before
Looks a tidy Valver inside.....nice with the leather
