Title: Best suspension setup

 :smiley: Hello what 's considered the best aftermarket suspension setup for a 91 8v need to change mine for the extra track days a plan to do this year but dont want to ruin the ride for the general day in day out stuff :undecided:

Hi.  If you search for "suspension" etc. using the search button above, you will find loads about this to help you - its a common question.

In short, the current consensus seems to be that if you want coilovers, you have to spend +£500 to get a decent quality, but you can spend far less on good springs/shocks and get a quality ride.

I have Konisport adjustabile on my 8V, and its great for every day use, and for track ;)

Ignore any suggestions for FK Highsport coilovers, they are crap.

at least get some with adjustable damping so you can have it soft on the road and hard on the track

my weitec fixed rate are great. good value too. much better than......
eibach springs on gaz gold adjustable dampers. the eibachs have a progressively wound spring, seemed to roll a more than the weitecs, and i could never get the damping right.
fit a matched fixed rate kit and forget.
when i ordered mine, darren @ g-werks said there near as the same as the kw fixed rate

Thanks for the reply's my budget is £600 had konis on other cars and liked my go this route :grin:
