Please can sum1 tell me why my golf gt tdi 2002 wont unlock akk doors with the key. The key only unlocks the drivers door when pressing the button???

Try disconnecting the battery for five minutes in case it's a glitch in the convenience module.

only drivers door if you use the remote. If you put the key in the door lock and turn it rwice then all doors unlock??????

When sat inside and you press the unlock button next to you window controls what happens?

When i sit in the car and press the unlock button all the locks unlock and lock like normal. Everything works but the remote???

As said mate Try disconnecting the battery for five minutes.

 Sounds like a convenience module fault as all the doors are opening when the key is used.

Any other clues? I will try disconecting the battery later, but i might need to find a radio code, as not sure if i have one.

Did you disconnect the battery?  There is a sticky that if you have the standard stereo, you don't need a code for it.

you asked a question which the OP had already answered - Rich merely highlighted the door which opens as it appears you missed it in the opening post  :smiley:

as for the problem how quickly are you pressing the button on the fob for the 2nd time?
