what parts do i need for a cam belt change
on a abf 16valve golf thanks
-
You should replace the timing belt and the tensioner, also you will need an array of tools so that you can get the crank pulley and the water pulley off which can be a nightmare, think you need a xzn bit and a socket holder.
SKF Tensioner from GSF:
13141, 051-109-243A @ £32.50
Belt from GSF:
13109B, 048-109-119G @ £18.50.
These parts are for a ABF engine with auto tension adjuster (mine is a 96 and has auto tensioner) which will need to be tightened up to correct tension with either circlip pliers or there is a special tool that laser make for about £10
