what are your thoughts etc
they will be fitted to a 2.0 gti if lowering 40mm will the d/shaft touch the a.r.b does any body know ?

for that price weitecs :afro:
you might hit the arb with that drop best to upgrade it at the same time if you want to go that low
Edit: just noticed wheel spacers might be required, this is if you go to low the tyres will rub on the adjusting ring on the coilovers so spacer are required to clear this. I had to have 5mm spacers fitted because of this (BTW these will be for sale soon )

Yeah o/s driveshaft does rub/knock against the arb on almost every speed bump. The sump can also take a beating on the drops!
I've got these on my 1.8T with 17"s - looking to replace front ARB with a Forge one.
Hopefully then I can drive over speedbumps faster than 10 mph!

Erm, yeah that's a slightly cheaper fix. But for another £20 ish I can buy a new arb this sits under the driveshaft? and so allows further lowering in the future!
Otherwise you could just buy some 18"s
