Title: oh bugger new front end needed!

oh dear! i drove into the back of an old fiesta on friday, an wrote the poor thing off, from a distance mine looked fine(ish), just a new bumper, an new bonnet.But looking from underneath the car,theirs a metal bar that looks to sit an support behind the bumper an that has bent inwards sharply an missed the radiator by just about 3-4 mil!!! And that looks like the expensive bit. Has anyone had a similar knock? or no's a bit more about the parts involved, im just waiting for my ins company(adrian flux) to deal with it but they've never quite blown me away with great quick service so i can see it being a bit of long drawn out process!!

unlucky mate, happens to the best of us.

get on vagparts.com and order yourself an r-line bumper  :P

probably get away with it by getting it on a jig to straighten the bar out?

def gonna look at getting a upgrade front end of some sort, but need to look about an see whats available. because the horrible front splitter/spoiler was so mashed left that there seeing as though it was off already! Im going through ins off course wont they only replace the parts with standered at one of there "recomended" garages or will they assess it an give me the money to deal with it?? first claim so im a bit up in the air! ???
