the audi tt quat wheels ive got are 35 offset so will b sitting just nice in them archs !

right, ok so if the new ones are 37which I am told they are)- I need (if monty2s are 45)- 8mm adapters??? I think minimum size is 15mm so the stance will be as bit wider but shouldnt really be a 'rubbing' issue.- I hope this is all correct!!

Ah ok great thanks!! What width adapters have you got on those?? At least I know it can be done without getting close to the limits.

none 35 is the max really with offsets its all opersite the lower the number the more they stick out
dnt think you can get a spacer to be 8mm goes in 5's ithinks........

really you wanna make erm sit out a lil bit ova the standard look any way if u find they rub your f**ked bruv as you cant make somit go bak inwards if you get me so your better off with a bigger numberd offfset as you can space them out after which is less work
i know there is a place in dagenham in essex ( elite http://www.elitedirect.com/ ) near me that can shave the centre bore down to rase your offset thou .......

you need the thinest adapters possible
27 would be seriously close and would cause problems

ive been told 30 is the max on a mk4 golf but what you have to look at is how stiff ur shocks are how low are you there are many things that can affect this while you just pottering around town an then you hit a bump an cya Mr arch's

SH!T So I don't actually think I can buy these wheels then- as the offset is 37, and they are 5x112 so will need adapters for sure- and I think the minimum is 15mm SH!T NNOOO!!! I'm gutted, truly gutted.

that is correct m8 ima frade if your looking at doing somit lyk that go to a place like that elites that mentioned a few posts bak as they can sort you f3thing out may pay a bit more but least you have got f3thing u need an if there isa prob just go back in there an go oi thingy we hava problem !

Do you have any idea how much it is to 'shave' the offset back???
i dnt have a clue how much they charge i know they do diamond cuttin of wheels as well so that might be somit to remember
an secondly dnt be a pusssssy get coilovers as the sloopy spring ryd will be poo an you know it as well comon admit it lol

Turns our H&R dont do a 15mm 5x112-5x100 adapter anyway as they're too thin. And from what I have read, they are the company to trust with adapters- so can't get these wheels now. its back to the good old internet searching yet again for more wheels! :cry: :cry: :cry:
