Title: My GTI is trying to kill me!!!

Hi guys,

thought the brakes felt a bit rubbish so gave them a proper good test, on a clear bit of road.

Back just locks up and the car tries to swap ends..

Fairly common problem on mk2s i believe.  Where do i start looking?

Brake compensation valve under the rear end. Needs adusting as the car's lowered. THere's a how to around here somewhere!

my valve was seized when i had some work done, - he freedit it off for me, now it turns left under heavy braking  :laugh:
