Hi folks,
I wonder if anybody out there has what I am looking for. My daughters GTI (yr 2000) rear wiper motor has packed up. On investigation it is not in fact the wiper motor that is at fault it is the large round toothed wheel that drives the blade shaft which has hardly any teeth left on it. I am in dispute with someone on E Bay at the moment as I bought a unit from someone advertising it as for a Skoda/MK 1V Golf but when I recieved it it does not have the hollow shaft for the washer and the connection has less terminals. The seller does not want to know and has stated that it will fit the car (probably after modification). Therefore I am looking for someone out there who has an old duff unit which the motor does not work but the drive wheel is ok.
