just got back from London to see my family and stuff, opened a letter, and I've got a NOTICE OF INTENDED PROSECUTION!! what the f**k!!!!!! >:( :o
Apparently I was in Leeds (oh btw I live in Cheltenham which is 170miles away 2 and a half hours journy) on the 16th June 2004 at 14:30hrs an cause a number of offences!!!!!
WELL THE POLICE ARE STUPID P***KS
cos It just so happens I was at home all day but to add insult to injury, I took a picture of my car by digital camera to send to my peepes, at 14:06hrs on the same day, which clearly shows my driveway etc....
so work it out , it took me 24 minutes to get from Cheltenham to Leeds to comit these doings!!
i'm seeking advice, and this may be a mistake by the police but as advised I wll be letting everyone know about this, a few papers are intrested!!
One of my police friends said some dick (sorry i'm soooo pissed off) is drivng around with fake plates >:( angry is not the word!!!

I had something similar last year, intended prosecution for failing to stop at the scene of an accident, driving without due care and attention, and destruction of private property!
I just returned the slip saying it wasn't me.. and that they were quite welcome to come and inspect my car for any damage.
3 weeks later i got another letter saying it wasn't economical for them to try and take it any further, and just gave me a producer. Hope it all goes as smoothly for you mate.

lol thats as good as what happened to my mate!
police phoned my mate and sed he had been caught driving away from an accident, he asked the plate of the car and it was right so he then sed "so someone has fixed my car?" the police then asked what was he meaning and he sed well my car is sittin in a garage in banff with the engine out gettin repaired! they then asked what type of car is it and he told them it was a v6 vectra and they was lookin for a megane!

Probably someone with false plates...there was that thing on Watchdog ages ago where a guy kept getting fines in London for not paying congestion charge...same time and place. when he took the matter up with police and dvla to prove it wasnt him all that was offered was a totally new plate (as in whole new registration number). Police didnt go to check who this person was and this guy didnt want a new plate so the matter went on....
