Title: gti brakes on a 1.3

hey there all

the mrs was complaining of brake noise yesterday and after a quick look the pads are metle to metal  :angry:

so i have some standard 8V stuff coming off my car when i upgrade to G60's

will my old 8v stuff go on the 1.3 ??? and will thay fit under the standard 13's ???

The 239's should fit under 13" rims. Oh if you mean steelies like mine, then they're 14".

Pretty sure they will fit under those, if they're the 239's.

yes it will all bolt on no bother, wheels should be fine.  Just need to swap the calipers n mounting bolts, then 239 vented pads n discs fit straight on. (calipers on a 1.3 are too small for vented setup)

not unless your 8v GTI has 256+ brakes
