Title: hello
Post by: indigo on 13 January 2009, 14:17
hi, everyone. I,m al. living up north in hull, but originall from essex so i think the modifying and playing with cars obsession is in my blood!!
I'm now onto my 3rd golf and am hoping to have some good fun with it. I just got myself a mk3 golf van (original), from what ive read they seem to be quite rare!!
It is currenty satin black, with a purple roof (but it is going checked as soon as the weather allows), quad headlights and lowered 65mm on ATS cups!
Not exactly sure what my plans are with it yet, so am open to a few ideas!

Ill get some pics up soon as ive got some good ones.

Ive also got a mk4 1.6 in black, but thats staying stock i think!! (for now at least!!)

al.

Hi Mate,

Like the sound of that van in satin black. Did one of my old streetfighters in satin black and it looked mint (well I thought it did anyway!!)

This is how it looks at the moment, got a few thing that ill get sorted soon, but i think its gonna be a long term project!!
Gotta get a new VR6 splitter and put the ATS cups back on the front! And as soon as the weather gets better the roof is getting checked.

Like it, the possiblities are endless too. If it were mine i would paint the rear passenger window panels with a blackboard based paint and have some fun with the chalk

Looking forward to seeing this develop.

Oh and welcome from a fellow newbie
