what you think...
its not for me BTW, my car is staying before any questions are asked
-
Good miles and not a bad price, nice colour as well, only thing that would stop me buying it is no aircon, I have drove a few early ones and found the heatsoak into the cabin a bit too much to be honest.
-
i used to have a K plate and found it fine, so thats not a problem, (you should try the heat soak in a modified Swift GTI ) its not really a early one this with it been a 96, looks decent enough, see how it goes
-
Not 100% but I am sure I have seen it on ed38.
-
ahh right, iv not seen it but wondered if it was a young owner, i never buycars of young owners u see...

Like the way that it's looking very low but there's no mention of coilovers or modified suspension? Is everything just knackered?? Hope not as it looks really rather nice
-
deffo looks lowered, gonna really grill the guy hahaha  , did the other day for another mate, picked up a reflex silver mk 4 GTTDI 130 on a 51 plate, FSH, 3 owner car with around 100k on it for 3100 quid , guy who was selling wanted 3695...
-
Looks nice, very similar to how mine was when i picked it up, mine was lowered 60/40 and it was low, this looks lower.
-
Well, did you get it?
-
car was very very nice, guy who has it took it in part ex, he runs a Audi specialist, dont think he knows what he has Tbh, provisionally having it, going to check it again tomo in the light, doing the deal for £1000, only has 1 bit of a bubble on front wing size of a quid coin, thats all i could see, drives well... very nice mk 3 VR if im honest
so should have it home tomo
-

£1000 is a very good prive, seems to good to be true but maybe like you say he doesn't realise what he has.

-
why didnt you just buy it when you went to see it????
-
because i wanted to make some checks, and see it in daylight, never buy a car in the dark!
-
ive bought one in the dark before was fine, just took a 5 cell mag lite with me..
-
so have i but it turned sour, i dont just buy cars on the off chance, anyhow we had a deal, he knew we wanted it, just wanted to see it again in the light and do a few checks..
should have took a chance on it and took it their and then,
ahh well guess i lost out this time on a good deal, told you i didnt think he knew what he had!,

-

-
Thats crazy, £2100, what a plank........oh well plenty of cheap vr's in good nick these days, another will come up soon.
-
yeah really annoying daz, couldnt believe it!
-
arrange to go view it again but dont let on its you...
-
They have been saying in the classic mags that Vr6's are holding value and could one day be a classic, if your honest a V6 hot hatch was ahead of its time when it was launched, I would love one if I sold my 8v but insurance and fuel costs rule it out.
-
D90's will look so sweet on your ride kells
Shame about the VR
-
cheer dec matey
-
im 25 n love my vr6 wouldnt swap it for nething. best car ive had n been in for ages. lot better than my vectra v6 n omega v6. pulls like a train. What yoko tyres u fitting kells? ive been looking at the parada spec2
-
hey becca, i run parada spec 2's, got them on my standard GTI rims at the mo and they are awesome, iv always used yoko's but these are the best yet!
but for my D-90's they dont do the parada in the size i want  so im having to go for the new yoko S-Drive, so ill see if they are any good, they certainly look it

what about yoko a539? they not in ur size? good tyre had them on my omega
ive got 205/50/15 on my vr6 but want the parada spec2 get 4 tyres for £120 but only in 195/50/15 so not sure if to stick with toyo t1-r's in 205.
-
well the A539 is the old one (before paradas0, i got them on my swift gti, they were good but nothing like the parada's, (i run them at 195/50/15). lonve the tread pattern on the parada too :)
these S drive have a good write up, they seem to be mostly for cars with big or wide rims like porsches and stuff so im gonna give them a go.
hope they are as good as the parada, my golf handles like a go kart with them and the coilovers
-
I have the sdrives on my vr, can't recommend them enough. Brilliant in the wet and dry.
-
cool thanx for that matey
