Title: Rear Number Plate
Post by: Ben_1uk on 13 January 2009, 12:26
I noticed the other day one of the bulbs illuminating my number plate is out. Does anybody know how to change it? I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to things like this and don't want to short anything out (if that's even possible!).

Thanks,
Ben.

No chance of shorting mate, unless you manage to cut the wires in the process!  Not checked on the golf, but it should be a flat blade screwdriver in one side to pop it out and the bulb should be visible.  Go check it while it's light outside, should see the side you need to release it.

Just changed mine, there are two philips screws and then just use a flat headed screwdriver to prize it out. Should come out realy easy.
