Title: Amp Helpp
Post by: RyanManning on 12 January 2009, 16:17
Hello
i have managed to get a vibe slick a4 amp that kicks out 4 x 150 wats rms and now im looking for some components to run off it. i had in mind some vibe se-k 60's but there only 115 rms. will this result in blown speakers???
Anyone got surgestions for components i should get?
Thanks

those speakers will be fine
it is always better to give too much power rather than not enough

Set the gain control properly on the amp.

Turn the gain to 0, turn the HU to full volume, then slowly turn the gain up on the amp until you begin to hear distortion, then bring it back a touch.
