Title: Silvatec front indicator bulbs
Post by: annekarob on 11 January 2009, 17:11
Hi people, bought some silvatec front indicator bulbs before christmas and after doing some searches on fitting insturctions decided to put off the fitting for a while! After hearing horror stories about removing bumpers etc today I decided to see what I was up against. First one I took the easy route and done drivers side. No worries, bit tight but enough room to get it in. 5 mins tops!

Passenger side...oh my what a different prospect, just about mangaged to get the old one out and new one in but unfortunately took me nearly 20 mins!!!

All in all, job done, managed to keep bumper on and headlights in place, looks a lot smarter without the 'fried egg look'. However am now looking into possible skin grafts due to losing a LOT of skin on passenger side.

Okay I admit it, I must have 'girlie hands' as certain people point out you need to complete this mod!

Sorry no pics but started this in daylight and finished in the dark with just my mobile for illumination!!!

Well done

While you've got the thread on the go..  Which bulb type do you need for them?  There are offset and directly opposite pins. I've not looked yet what we need
