Title: audi door handles on mk2

has anyone here done this?

how much can i expect to pay a bodyshop to weld the handles into the door? is it better to buy a patern handle kit or cut up an audi door?

every bodyshop will vairy. best to take them your car so they can see the state your doors are in now and see what they say.

mine want ?200 to spray this tailgate I have. that's with dewipering it aswell.

i wont be doing it for a while yet :(

id rather find out which bodyshops have done it before as they would obviously do a better job ;)

better to buy pattern handles with the weld in plate. The Audi doors are sort of 'curved' and would probably be more hassle :-\

I have seen these on ebay! They just replace your existing handle, don't know how good they are?

saves all the cost of welding etc :)

you cant get clip on audi handles, theyra weld in job. ;)


dizzie whereabouts is tony paynes shop? is he a coachworks?

dragging up an old thread, i know.  so i do apologise.  where you happy madsingh?  did they do a good job?  im looking for a bodyshop in the birmingham area that can do an Audi door handle conversion for me.  any ideas?
