Title: 2004 Mk1 1.6i with MP9 injection.

Any of u know u can still buy a brand new Mk1?  Complete with one piece driver's windows (they're all 4 door models) and a dash like in the older shape Polo (just before the latest shape).

Jus saying so in case anyone is interested in owning a new one, all you have to do is pay import duties.

There have been several threads about the South African Citi Golf, it does look a nice little motor, and a few of us got to see one in the "flesh" at a VW Action show last year.
I think if they were to make a 3 door version, they would have a huge amount of interest in Europe and the States.

yeh i seen one of these in the flesh,

they got 1 at c and r in nottingham, shipped over from south africa,

looks ok :D

i saw one at gti international - have to say id rather spend the money on a well built german one tho whatever the age.  ;D

i didnt think they had injection engines - u surprised me there  :)
