If it only happens in the freezing temperatures it could be water freezing in the handbrake cables.
-
mine froze on a couple of days ago , then it has been fekin cold .
-
i stopped using my handbrake for now as it is -6 to -10 over ere in holland over night
one of mine was holding on
stopped now

not had chance to have a look this w/e but only seems to do it every now and then and only since changing discs and pads will have a look next w/e
dont think it will be cables as they were replaced last year at mot which is not far away again

could it be the caliper slide pins need greasing?
