Mine does that mate!

You will need to get it plugged into a fault reader to find out whch airbag has the fault and then go from there!

who has a fault reader? and is it expensive if there is a fault?

local garage or someone local to you with the diagnostic software

alternatively buy one yourself from Ebay / Halfords

until you know the fault you can't really guess the price! could be something simple as a loose connection or you might need a new airbag

depends which one

drivers side is a 5 minute job (20 if you include waiting 15 after you've disconnected the battery)

if its the seats urm its a difficult job though most likely the wiring under the seat that is the problem

the one in the floor i believe he is on about mate - its the yellow connector for the seat; its rectangle and most likely buried under a few bits and pieces lol

Yeah - it's the one on the floor!

Under the drivers seat

Whoever had the car before me has cut the plug off and taped them together with electrical tape!

i got the yellow plug runs under the carpet somewhere, does anyone know if it runs to a connector somewhere else?

off the top of my head i would suspect it runs under to somewhere in the dash - not 100% if there is a seperate airbag controller or if its controlled through the CCM (central convenience model)

Ahhh, My light comes up on my right hand side (near the headlight switch) when i start the car, goes off for a second then comes back constantly, its been annoying the life out of me but i have to explain, when i got the car it was disconnected and the owner before didnt know about it but the owner before that might have been around to know what the fault was, problem one, will never be able to get hold of him problem two, what do you guess think it is, ive been told its something under the seat and if so where is that connection under the seat.

Cheers Gents  :cool:n Ladies

Really want to try and get my airbag sorted.

Anyone know how much it would cost to get looked at?

I'm getting fed up of the beeping my car makes every time I start it!

Oh yeah, and the fact if I crash I have a broken airbag in my seat is another good reason to get it sorted!
