Title: mk2 window brake light... where do cables go?

Ive got a boot brake light for my boot lid. Im attaching it to the top of the window. The 2 cables are long enougth to reach the lights but i dont know where to wire them up....

anyone got an anwer...?

Follow the cables to the cluster and either splice the cables directly onto the cluser connectors or the cables themselves. Solder and loads of electrical tape should do it  :wink:

no need to splice or solder, simply look at your rear light bulb trays.  notice they have handy spade connectors on, bit of trial & error to find the spade that works the brake lights (or take the tray off and follow the metal tracks) crimp a spade plug on the end of the wire, run the earth to the earth point behind the boot carpet, job done.
