The forge twintercooler has good reviews from most users.

I would be suspicious on the one you've linked for ease of fitting but don't know for sure.

The oem S3 IC is another option and it's much cheaper than the forge one. It replaces the standard oem IC.

I would look into the S3 option, cheaper, OEM and sounds like it does the job pretty well.

Downside to a front mount is blocking of the rad and oem IC - read something recently about a Leon Cupra which had both and this was suspicious of causing problems.

It doesn't give a specific make with that advertised cooler. Pity.

The Forge version is very good, but costly.

So i'm getting the various options but whats to be had???,  and if the car is mapped, as mine will be next week, would it need a live map after fittment to get the best ????

If you want a fmic that you can remove before selling your car then you want the forge twintercooler.

IMO the best out of the box IC is the APR one but only if you have a manual transmission and consider it a "fit and forget" item when it comes to selling your car. The cheaper option like I said before is the oem S3 IC.

You do not have to have the IC fitted prior to your remap as the maps are, in general, made using the standard oem IC. If you choose revo and get a select plus switch then the addition of the uprated IC may allow you to run with a slightly higher timing.
