u'll need to source all the bits to do the conversion and then weld on some brackets onto the passenger's side rear turret to mount the motor. we looked at doing this to vix's, but it was a lot of work.

actually i thought it looked dooable.  a couple of spots of weld for the motor on that rear inner arch and the rest looked like between me and diz we would get there.  it looked alot easier then doing a polo dash conversion (dizzies idea of easy!). :P

the only reason i didnt is cos i couldnt find a buyer for the hood it came with and money was a little tight at the time. ::)

its still on my mods list  8)

looks to have all the right gear in there, and I know Gibby would be interested in buying the window switches off the lucky winner.
Power hoods are great for the pose value if nothing else, and makes getting the wind in your hair that much easier. Go for it.

Could be the battery, or the joints may need oiling. But mine is the same, so dont worry about it too much, unless it is taking more than 20-30 seconds, and the motor sounds like it is going to bust a seal. They are old cars now, and just need a bit of TLC and a few words of encouragement.

Aye Vix, but can you do it while sitting down though he he  ;D

Cheers Ads I would be interested in buying those window switches if you get that bundle sbsshadow. In fact has anyone got a pic of those type of switches that I could post in the parts wanted section ? I could post this e-bay link in but when the auctions finished they vanish dont they ?
