Title: Engine Mounts MK2

Any one know any quick and simple way to change the rear engine mount on me mk2?  ???

is it the n/s or os rear?
I found it easier to remove the alloy bracket from the block, then access is a bit easier.
Put a block of wood on a trolley jack under the sump, DONT lift engine with it though, its just to support engine while you work, The other way is to use a scaffold pole cut to fit on lip of inner wing and a sling/rope tied to the lifting eyes on the head.
plenty of wd40 if the bolt is rusted up.

Your just going to have to accept that you are going to lose lots of skin. You will get there eventually.

cheers boys! after a bit of investigation it looks like its the front one thats gone! gunna change that and see if that sorts it first then tackle the beast at the back if its still not sorted!  :P
