Hi all just joined the forum Looking for some info if possible I'm runin mk5 edition 30 with 30mm h+r springs which are good but was wondering what other coilovers would be best and at a resonable price looking to go bit lower but nothing mental and it still on original 18'' pescari's
thanks Toast

I used the eibach pro street s on my ED30 and they were great, good price, decent ride quality better than std, and a few lads a know run them so would recommend them, the KW items also get a great right up. the eibach 1's are made by KW and are a little cheaper

I run on Eibach's too and must say that the control is much better than stock. The damping is especially good!
-
Thanks for the info guys al have a look into them and see what the prices are!
Another quick 1 Hurdy how do you find the team dynamics pro race?? was thinkin about either black pro race's or speedline turini's
Thanks Toast

I looked at both of the wheels you mentioned Toast and erred on the TD's. They are very good indeed and having felt the weight of the stock pescara's against the TD's I was amazed at the difference. The car feels that little bit more nimble too, so it is all good  You can also get VW centres for the TD's quite easily as stock genuine ones fit (I have the part number somewhere )

Thanks mate I'm starting to warm more to the Td's in black as my edition 30 is red so was thinkin drop it on coilovers a bit more and should have a bit of a stealth look to it lol  then next stop comes the diff perhaps
Where abouts did you get your Td's and what price?
-
My TD's were £895 and included the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's (which are very good in both the wet and dry). I also added the option of having the steel inserts fitted into the bolt holes as they add strength to the centres for high performance cars.

how much are the eibach pro street s? awesome dont do them by the looks of it..

They are around £600 now. They have had a 17.5% price rise recently and so maybe a little more

I got beat  but it was against my mates s3 at gti this year he's runin 320bhp but with qauttro the swine !!!lol
To be fair the strip was damp and trying to put 320 ponies down threw fwd didn't happen
That said on the road I've had the edge on him a couple of time both cars are rapid we've had 170 out of the s3 on a private road of course

Ahh! Yeah it looks from your photo like the S3 had the edge off the line (expected with the quattro). I thought maybe his wasn't mapped, so your torque may have helped you come back! On a dry day with a perfect launch by the ED30 I would be interested to see the result!!
Welcome to the forum by the way

Thanks mate
Aye the s3 is an absolute weapon in any weather conditions and he's got the full miltek system on it sounds evil  When its dry the edition 30 is just as brutal scared a few suburu boys with it lol You just put the foot down and it pulls!!!
-
This sounds familiar , I've had/got both as you know, off the line the S3 has it, once running I think the ED30's probably got the edge. I've had a couple of runs out with T88OM and his CC stg2 ED30 since I've had the S3 and this has confirmed it I think. Now if its damp thats different
