Hi Guys,
First post here since I've been lurking for a while!
I've got and '07 manual with an armrest and for some reason, the other day, I lent on it far too hard while reaching for something and it 'crunched' down one notch. Now, if I lift it back up and lock it into postition, I can 'feel' the 4th position but it wont stay engaged. The other 3 are alright and every now and then it will stop at the highest position.
Just wondering whether it sounds like I've busted it completely or if there might be a way to fix.
Cheers,
Tony

I happened to be kneeling on mine whilst it was closed. Thought I'd broken it TBH but turns out I'd just popped the plastic 'lid' on the underside of the arm rest and was able to clip it in back into place.
Check you haven't dislodge/popped anything out of place.

WTF where you doing to be kneeling on it?
Or is it too early in the morning for the answer :D?

if you are quite handy with the scredriver and spanners i would take it off and check, no idea whether its broken TBH would have thought they are sturdier than that though?!? :undecided:

Thanks for all the replies gents. Sorry I've been away from a comp for most of Christmas/New Year - poor show I know.
I can wield a screwdriver/torx when required but does anyone knhttp://uk.mc865.mail.yahoo.com/mc/showFolder?Ebulk=1&mcrumb=ulJxeRPLOcy&.rand=494694055&da=0ow of a guide anywhere or is it as simple as taking a look at it in good light and going from there?
I've considered taking it into a stealer but suspect if they open it up and find a 'broken' bit they'll probably charge me for the labour and then more to fix as its not wear/tear or whatever it would need to be,,
