Post by: plowy on 18 December 2008, 20:10
The OBC display in my car is laid out different from others i have seen, mine is like split in half, and the warning lights/car door open graphic is on the top half,  someone enlighten me please... :undecided:

You have a midline mfd.
With a high line mfd (optional extra) the PRDN etc is at the bottom of the screen and the screen fills the recess.

I went to one dealer and talked about highline and he said they came only on the passatt and not the GTI. Didn't have the heart to correct him so just left it at that.

Does anyone else prefer the way the DSG gears are laid out on the mid-line?  It's more logical than on the highline as it actually reflects the pattern on the selector  :nerd:
