See below pic
Not really a great pic, but best I could do in the short space of time I've had tonight. I MUST stress, that as with all photos, it really does not do it justice at all!
Car is not finished yet. Still awaiting my new sticker numberplate which will be positioned under the near-side headlight (therefore I can get the maximum effect from the black bonnet, through the continued gloss black on the grille!)
Also awaiting the lamin-x tinted headlight film from the USA! Then, the front will look niiiiiiice!
Cheers,
Chris.

looks awesome!!
not sure about the number plate plan but need to see a pic i guess. i would have thought the black and white of the numberplate in its original position would have kinda matched the contrast of the black and white of the rest of the car but still its looks very cool and i don't think i'll be getting your motor mixed up with any other white gti's i see in bracknell.
oh princess square car park for the pic?? looks familar but i can't quite place the location.
-
Yeh thats decent! I rate that!
-
That looks gorgeous
Now you need to lower it to finish the look
-
i love this look, maybe even some black BBS 19" with white lips. AWESOME
-
Did you line it up with the bonnet creases or the grille? Can't tell in that pic.
Very nice!
If I had a CW, I'd do that.
-

Cheers Joe, ordered mine from the US about three weeks ago, and it came this morning! So will hopefully fit it either on the weekend, or next week!

I ordered from the US, and chose the 'tint' version. Spoke to some guys on the S3 forum who have ordered the same stuff, and they said that a darker tint was just too dark :undecided: :undecided: I would actually have preferred it to be darker the better, but i saw some pics of the 'tint' and it looked plenty dark enough. But i would like to see a darker tint at some point to compare! Which tint did you order???

Bit of a shame that I haven't managed to put the Lamin-X headlight tinting film on yet - I'm waiting for hotter weather, as I think it's too cold for it to go on properly at the moment.
And don't worry - A US spec smooth front mask is in the pipeline! As is coilovers, WALK, ARB's and uprated engine mounts!
Thanks for looking
-
Really like that mate
What coilovers you going for?

Thanks Mark!
Hmm dunno yet, haven't really thought about it! All I know is that I need them, lol!
Will consider the good makes, like Eibach, H&R, KW, FK, Koni etc... budget isn't massive for them, but will definitely not get the cheapest I can find. Suspension is an important factor, and I don't think it's right to buy it with a tight budget!

Looks awesome, makes me want a mk5 even more
with regards to coilovers have a look at weitec, their made by KW but are more mid ranged price wise
-
Nice one!
I think quite a few people use KW on here don't they?
Gonna look awesome when it's lowered :)

Yeah you're right...KW seems to be the popular choice! Think my budget will only stretch to the Variant 1's, however they do not offer adjustable damping - which is a feature that I would like. So I think I may either look to another brand, or to save up for the Variant 2's !!!
