what box will fit my 2ltr mk2 .ive got a abk with standard cluch but my fifth gear has just gone and fubard it :cry:

16v ABF? Not heard of a ABK before.


It could just be your gear linkage, search ebay for gear linkage repair kits, they're anywhere between £5 and £20 depending on quality and what you get in it. init.

8v with audi 2ltr conversion .ive stripped my box and its chewed fifth and the lay shaft.

thing is theres loads of mk3 around me in the yards. what ones will fit or run close to my old 1

what gearbox did you have in there.  ?   if  mk2 8v  you need a mk2 8v. of if you have 16v or mk3 clutch you can use a mk3 or mk2 16v clutch.  if you don't mind changing the friction disk you can fit any 020 gearbox

was running my standard 8v box. what do i have to  do ti fit a mk3 box cheers

fit  210 mm friction plate with the larger center,  ether mk2 16v or mk3 8v one
