I know most of the mk5/6 Golfs have a tyre pressure monitoring system but all it does is tell you via a bleeper if your tyre has lost a few pound, I had this fitted today as the last time I was on a Trackday and checked the pressures i had to let around 10lb out as they can go up considerably with the heat in the wheels and tyres,
This should keep things in check, and it also tells tyre temps etc
