A beautiful part of the country, around the Mourne mountains. The coast road between Kilkeel and Newcastle is stunning. If you need any recommendations on places to see, eat (if they're open) or good roads to drive let me know by DM.

All my in-laws are from Rostrevor and Warrenpoint - it’s a beautiful part of the world.

Changed the winter wheels (cross climates) on VWR Cup alloys over to the belvederes running PS4S tyres. Really think the belvederes suit the ED40. Fitted 11mm spacers to keep the stance of the VWR wheels.

Fitted a 034 motorsport Rear ARB and end links, quite a bit heavier than the stock one. The car feels more pointy with improved turn in, just feels like the car is rotating more in the corners, really pleased.

how have you managed to get 18" PS4S?

Thanks, I definitely need to invest in some when I can locate a set. Hopefully locally this time as I loathe waiting for international shipping.

Blackcircles mcmaddy, they had them in a few weeks ago, then they went out of stock. Ordered last weekend.

I messaged them last month and asked when they would be selling them and they replied they had no date. I thought it a bit strange considering Blackcircles is owned by Michelin. I'd be interested to hear what you think of them because I didn't like the soft sidewall feel on the PS4. The PS4S has a stiffer sidewall so will be an improvement on the PS4.

I had PS4 tyres on my 2014 GTI and liked them, the soft sidewall did not bother me, initial impressions of the PS4S are encouraging, they feel stiffer than the PS4 but haven’t been on the right roads. Will update when I’ve done a few more miles.

How do you find the cross climates compared to the PS4?

Fixed my sticky fuel filler flap. Really didn't want the bother of taking it in for a 5 minute job so out came a sharp knife and job done. All while my tea was brewing

I know both really well, I’ll be over August in Kilkeel but will hack through the Point to Newry 😉
