If you mean suspension then yes, the stock set up is sh!t straight out of the factory let alone once worn in.

That would explain the mildly-scary cornering then :D
No that would be the missing rubber bits in the rear beam
Ah yeah, them too :D
Wherry is pretty local to me, isn't he? I wonder how much fun he finds doing those...

I heard my name..

I sold my Vr6 almost 2 years ago, not touched a Mk3 since and don't plan on buying one again  thank fully never had to touch the bushes other than top mounts

Blast, foiled :( I'll have Hefford take a look at it whilst he's sorting the timing :)

Sorted my washer jets which, erm, weren't. Bit of a poke about with a needle, pull the stalk, get soaked :D
Also checked tyre pressures to see if that might help with the waylay handling - 10psi in the nearside rear, 34psi in the offside rear  :o  With those sorted, everything's a lot more sensible around corners now. Still sh!t, but at least predictably sh!t!
Oh, and my first drive at night - the headlights are absolute RUBBISH  ;D

twitting around with the headlights. Still sh!t, but at least they both work now. Anyone know where I can get a relayed loom for a Mk3 GTI?

State of some of our roads over here, he could have easily wanged that off a stray bit of granite wall :D
