Hey guys
Well I have succeeded where rclick failed before.
I managed to get total closure to work with the keyless entry kit.
I pulled the car apart again to see how the total closure works, so got to the back of the lock in the drivers door.
Locking the car:
Turning the key sends a +12v pulse down the grey wire to lock the car, and holding the key to close the windows maintains a +12v pulse for as long as the key is held.
Unlocking the car is the same, but operates down the green wire.
The rclick module only sends a +12v pulse to lock and unlock the car, and doesn't hold no matter what you do with the fob.
It does have a windows rising output, which becomes an earth when activated for around 30s.
Heres how you sort it.
Get a standard automotive relay
This is how you need to connect it up
connect 30 to 12v permanent live
connect 87 to the lock wire on harness (connected to grey)
connect 85 to 12v live
connect 86 to the green wire on harness
bobs your uncle, fanny's your aunt, this should work for you.
Now thats working, took the cam cover off, gave it a good scrub with a wire brush, and coated it in enamel heat proof paint. I'l post a pic of it when its dry and fitted to the car.
Pressed plates arrived today.
Cheers
