Part of my spoiler has disappeared looks like it’s snapped of, new part from VW £107 🙈, has anybody else had to replace one it looks like it’s glued in place.

I seem to remember early on in the lifecycle of the mk7 GTI’s this wasn’t uncommon.
It might be worth doing a bit of internet searching as you may find one cheaper than the price you’ve been quoted by VW. I think they’re attached with double sided tape.

Yes there held on with double sided tape IIRC.
Bit of a poor way of securing them if you ask me.

When these cars were new there were plenty of owners having issues with them coming loose. I think VW improved the sticky on later ones

There was a recall for them to be replaced had mine both done years ago even though there was nothing wrong with mine but they did them anyway, maybe worth asking if yours has been done.
