G reg 16v

175k

50 miles a week if im lucky,not a daily,the mk3 does the work,the mk2 does the play!  :smug:

In the six years ive had her ive replaced so much stuff i cant even remember, not because it needed all of it but just because i wanted it to be as trouble free as possible and still i carry a spanner and a screw driver in the car at all times just incase.

I dont get to drive it alot but i know its there in the garage anytime i need cheering up or feel going to work is pointless.

H plate 8v digifant

204,000 miles on the car, ~100,000 on the engine.

Minimum 250 a week (used to do about 450)

Replaced lots of bits, headlamp, uprated loom, mk3 door handles, engine, 2nd gear synchro (how I lived with the crunching I don't know!), hybrid 5th gear (70mph @ 2800 rpm, 41 mpg), lots of other bits and bobs.

She still runs like a dream, and is fun to drive
<br />Almost finished.....

Model: 1989 8v Digi
Mileage: 112000miles
Miles per week: 50ish
Replacement parts bought how often: over the last year its had a distributer, coil, all service bits brakes n that, some relaysand a few other bits half of these were to find a cutting out fault till i found out water was dripping on the fuse box when it rained so half the parts were not needed

Any other comments: Now when it rains the glove box fills with water so much I could keep a gold fish in there

Model: runout Digi
Mileage: Very nearly at 130k birthday

Approx 90 miles per week.

Have bought new starter motor 4x Toyo Proxes and Powerflow system.

Still manages to put a huge grin on my face nearly every day.

No faults, but will need a head rebuild soonish I reckon, as a very faint oilwhiff on the overrun
