New Golf Owner

Good afternoon all.
Well as of yesterday I am the owner of a 51 plate Golf GTI
http://www.fastfocus.info/golf.jpg
. As far as I know its the 2.0 8v, definately no turbo on it. My name is Mark. This is the first VW I have owned, the car is a family car so I will have to behave with modifications (previous focus was modified) although a sound system will go in as I already have all the kit. I found yourselves and decided to join after getting the Golf as I have found make specific websites very useful in the past.

you sure its not the turbo, thought those wheels were turbo ones!! And it looks like a lter one so its either 1.8 turbo or 2.0 Gti?
Welcome anyway and enjoy the Golf

Thanks for the welcome. Definately no Turbo. Its the 2.0 115bhp though :-) If they are turbo alloys then its a nice extra

Welcome.
Those wheels were probably an option on the lower spec GTI's.

Simon, you can get the turbo wheels on the 2.0 8v. They could be added when bought new at extra cost. Iv seen a few (not many, I was looking for one with turbo wheels but couldn't find any near me).
