Title: Advice re: Wheel fitments

After a bit of advice, am going to get 16s wit low profiles on my GTI, lowering it by 40 and need to know if there is a particular wheel width, offset or measurements I need to stick to without wearing any parts unnessesarily and to keep the handling?

Any one have any idea? ???
