is your car mapped cos if you're going to swap the clutch no point putting standard back in

if you're going to swap just the release bearing its a few hours work and the bearing is about £40

you got a 150 haven't you?

if your car is mapped and you want an uprated clutch its best you sit down before i tell you the price....

Bearing is about £40 but as you say if taking ther gearbox off may as well do ther clutch? Labout will cost

Tho are you sure its the bearing? Thay usually make a rumble noise?

Does it do it when the car in neutral and you release the clutch?

My clutch is on its way out. It started slipping when accelerating in 5th gear from around 2000rpm. I've taken the car down to France, on holiday, and its getting worse, slipping in 4th and sometimes even in 3rd now. We had the cruise control engaged whilst climbing a steep long hill out of Caen. It disengaged itself when the revs started increasing due to clutch slip.
I have bought a clutch kit from GSF and have it in the back of the car just in case. I'm hoping to nurse the car back home and do it as soon as I get back.
186,000 miles on the original clutch is pretty good going

Got the car back home without incident.
Just about to start removing the gearbox and replacing the clutch.
