Mk's Sections
« on: 27 September 2006, 10:12 »
Would it be possible to find out how many members are in each Mk. ? 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5......

Just curious about the split.

I know this info is not available or asked for when ya join. Maybe a prompt when you log in to enter a poll?

Also what about all those Thousands of inactive members?
Shouldnt the total reflect how many there actually are?

well that shows how busy each section is, or at least the top ten broken down by various things or did you want to know which mk has the most amount of owners, ie there are 1000 with mk1's 1500 with mk2's etc?
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post

Thanks joe - I had found the stats info.

Yes I was thinking of how many cars/ owners there are. Yes there are some that have more than one car and type.
And it wasnt a case of which one is biggest, (probably Mk 2's)  just think as there are supposed to be 8000 of us then would be interesting to know the split.

Probably a bit late to sort that kind of data!

As a guide just look at the volume of posts in each of the 5 sections.

:laugh:funny but mk2s look better are easier to work on than any mk3. mk4 + 5 have fewer miles on than most so give it 10 years il bet there are still mk2s on the road mk3s will be dead and buried mk4+5 owners will be skint just one mans opinion

But you will be spending all your time repairing it rather than driving it!
